And so far what they have changed is quite a bit.

They've re-done the whole top menu bar. It was originally white with blue highlighting and now it is black with red highlighting. They also made all of the search elements smaller.

This is probably the most dramatic change Google has made to their home page in a long time. The last change was as big as adding the ability to have a personalized background and more animated "Google Search" and "I'm Feeling Lucky" buttons.

Over all, I personally think that it is a nice change to Google.com's home page, but what do you think? Post comments below this post telling how about how you think of the new Google.

Written By: Alex Pancamo

Windows 8: Any Good?

Most everybody has heard the buzz about Microsoft's Windows 8 Concept. They basically took the ideas of Android OS and Windows Media Center and mixed them up.
I personally think it's ruining the idea of the PC, but Microsoft seems to think that they're accomplishing something. I have posted a demo video link at the end of this article, so you can see more in-depth what it is like, but this is the Windows 8 Home Screen.

This does look pretty cool, but not in the normal every day PC. To me, this looks like one of the leading computer manufacturers made their own version of the Apple iPad. Microsoft did do a good job, but still, this doesn't look like it belongs in a regular PC. What I mean by this is where are the programs? I notice that icon in the corner that says "desktop," but still, where is Microsoft Word? What about iTunes? Adobe Reader?

Microsoft definitely has good ideas with this new operating system, but will it be as successful as Windows XP was? Most people were almost afraid of the release of Windows Vista and 7, but will Windows 8 pull them away from their trusty XP?

Keep reading on The Tech Center to find out more updates on Windows 8 and more!

Written By: Alex Pancamo

Video Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZEnssVjb2g

Video courtesy of IGN Entertainment's channel on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/user/ignentertainment/

Hello World!

Hey

My name is Alex and I am here to share up to date news with computers and other significant technology (such as iPhone, iPod, Android, etc.) So check in often and I hope to see all of the page views increasing quickly!
